FCM - Construções won the contract for the 1st phase (foundations and structure) of the new building to be built for Hovione Farmaciência, S.A. in Sete Casas, Loures.
The B14 building is intended to support the Hovione factory in Loures, and will have areas destined for laboratories, offices, social areas and bathhouses.
The value of the contract in question is more than € 2.3 million for a contract to be executed within a very short time (6 months) and with a high degree of complexity.
This contract proves to be very important for FCM as it is a customer "wanted" by the market, and a unique work where FCM will put the highest standards of quality and safety at work, given the requirement and specificity of the project.
It should be noted that for this project, it is intended to achieve a level of excellence by implementing the best sustainability practices and optimizing the performance of the building, aiming at the maximum LEED-PLATINIUM classification. LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) is a system for evaluating and certifying sustainability in internationally recognized construction projects.
Hovione is a rapidly growing multinational, considering itself to be a strategic customer for FCM, having already secured other contracts from this same customer.
FCM welcomes to be part of this project that will create new opportunities of development of the region where it is located, and where it is notorious the concern for the protection of the people, the facilities and the environment.
